Cancellation Policy
How cancellations work on RideSetter.
This page is provided for platform information and should be reviewed by legal counsel before RideSetter accepts live bookings or payments.
RideSetter is building a structured cancellation flow that balances renter flexibility with host protection.
Renter Cancellations
- Cancellations more than 48 hours before pickup are eligible for a full refund of the booking total, minus any non-refundable platform fees.
- Cancellations within 48 hours of pickup may be partially or non-refundable based on the host's policy.
- No-shows are non-refundable.
Host Cancellations
- Hosts who cancel a confirmed booking will receive a refund of the held funds to the renter and may face platform penalties.
- Cancellations due to unsafe weather or mechanical issues should be initiated as soon as possible.
Weather and Safety
Either party may cancel a booking if conditions are unsafe. RideSetter will work to issue a fair refund or reschedule.
