Rental Waiver
Sample of the waiver every renter signs before a confirmed booking.
Assumption of Risk. Operating a personal watercraft involves inherent risks including but not limited to collision, capsizing, weather hazards, and mechanical failure. By signing the in-app waiver before your trip, you acknowledge these risks.
Operator Responsibility. You agree to operate the watercraft safely, in compliance with all local and federal regulations, with proper safety equipment, and never under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances.
Damage & Deposit. A damage deposit is authorized at booking and may be applied toward documented damage, missing equipment, or fuel beyond normal usage.
Release of Liability. Within the limits permitted by law, you release RideSetter and the host from claims arising from your use of the watercraft, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
The full waiver appears in your booking page once a host accepts your request.
